Ruby is owned by Karl Britton of Redcypher Kennels but Marsagan Labradors has been given the opportunity to raise a litter as we both are keen to keep a pup for our future trialling activities. This is what Karl has to say about Ruby.
"Ruby was a very easy labrador to train. Very keen, intelligent and always willing to please. A natural swimmer with great game finding ability, a good marking dog that handles very well. Ruby is a wonderful companion and qualified for her Novice Retrieving Dog title from just 5 starts in between the duck shooting season in Victoria".
Ruby has been mated with Ben (using his imported frozen semen from the UK) and all going to plan, should produce very dark fox red coloured pups around 08/06/20. This will be a very special litter with the pups resultant pedigree showing some of the finest retrieving dogs the UK has produced.
Marsagan Labradors will be looking to place pups into active homes as the pups will be very biddable and trainable and will be well suited for dog sports, retrieving trials, assistance training etc. as well as making wonderful family companions.
